59 more people died from coronavirus in Turkey on Tuesday with 1,832 new cases reported. Turkey's Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca made the announcement in a Twitter post on Tuesday, May 5.
The 1,832 new cases were confirmed from 33,283 tests carried out on Tuesday which brings the total number of cases in the country to 129,491.
The 59 death recorded in the last 24 hours took the death toll to 3,520.
Turkey's total confirmed cases stood at 129,491 and some 5,119 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, Koca shared on Twitter.
Turkey is currently treating 1,338 patients in intensive care units, along with 707 intubated patients, Koca added.
