19-year-old student commits suicide, jumps from 4th floor of apartment building in Gönyeli

A 19-year-old student in north Cyprus took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his apartment building in Gönyeli on Wednesday morning.

The student identified as Muamba Muka Nathan, 19 reportedly jumped from the 4th floor of his residence, Levent Apartment located on Anayurt Street in Gönyeli t about 5:00am on Thursday, May, 20.

Police are investigating the incident.

    I really don't believe he committed suicide. May God bring confort to the family and friends

    It's alleged that his roommates of Nigerian origin were playing loud music in the room while he was trying to sleep. He asked them to lower the volume, and they arrogantly refused and and altercation broke and the Nigerian roommate pushed him through the window of their 4th floor room
