Turkey's coronavirus death toll reaches 2,491 with 101,790 total cases
Turkey's confirmed cases of the coronavirus increased by 3,116 in the past 24 hours, and 115 more people have died, taking the death toll to 2,491.
Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made the announcement on Thursday, April 23.
40,962 tests were conducted over the past day, with the overall number of tests reaching 791,906.
Turkey is currently treating 1,816 patients in intensive care units, along with 982 intubated patients, Koca added.
