One new case of coronavirus confirmed in TRNC, rise to 95 total cases
One new case of coronavirus was confirmed in Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, bring the total number cases there to 95.
TRNC Minister of health, Dr. Ali Pilli made the announcement on Wednesday. The positive case concerns a person who came in contact with some who came from abroad.
Of the 178 tests carried out on Wednesday, 1 came out positive for the virus. The patient is a pregnant woman.
So far, a total of 3424 tests have been carried out with 95 confirmed cases.
A total of 44 patients have been discharged, 48 under treatment and 1 in intensive care unit.
The first case of Covid-19 in TRNC was recorded on March, 11.
Three people have died of the virus in north Cyprus, two German tourists and a Turkish Cypriot. They all had underlying health issues.
