North Cyprus introduces Whatsapp Support Line for university students

A Whatsapp Support Line for university students in the country where they can convey their problems has been launched. 

The new application, the “Higher Education WhatsApp Support Line” was launched by the TRNC Ministry of Education on Tuesday. 

With the new application, with thw number 0539 1032333, university students studying in Cyprus and those studying abroad can communicate their problems and demands.

We have been working on the establishment of the Higher Education Support Line in order to ensure that questions and requests to be transmitted in writing to the WhapsApp student support line are answered quickly and effectively, said Minister of National Education and Culture Nazım Çavuşoğlu.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic that has influenced the whole world, we have accelerated these studies and made them available from tomorrow (Tuesday). I would like to state that we spend intensive work in order to help our higher education students who have passed the pandemic period in our country to solve their problems. No one should doubt that we will always be with our students during this period, he said.

With our Higher Education Support Line, we will reach our TRNC citizens who are studying abroad in our country together with our TRNC, TR and 3rd Country nationals, and they will be able to reach their questions and requests quickly and effectively.” "In the first place, we start in Turkish, English and Russian.
