Five new cases of coronavirus and one death reported in south Cyprus
Five new cases of coronavirus and one more death were reported in southern Cyprus on Monday announced on Monday which brings the total number of cases there to 822, including 10 in the British bases.
The causality concerns a 76-year-old man with serious underlying health issues who became the 20th virus-linked death.
The five new cases were confirmed from 1,796 tests carried out on Monday.
One case was found as part of the government’s strategy to test 20,000 front-line staff, three cases were people who returned from abroad recently, and one case was from a private initiative testing.
