Angry man breaks hospital door in Lefkosa because doctor did not prescribe drug for him

An angry 45-year-old man was arrested in Lefkosa on Tuesday for breaking a hospital door because the doctor did not prescribe a drug for him.

The incident happened at about 11:00am at the Peace Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital in Lefkosa on Tuesday.

The man, a Turkish Cypriot identified only as E.U reportedly got angry at the doctor and broke the hospital door.     

According to police report, the man got angry on the grounds that the doctor did not write the drug he wanted and so decided to kick the hospital entrance door and damaged the door in the process.

He was arrested and legal proceedings were initiated against him.
