29 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in south Cyprus on Tuesday
Twenty-nine new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in southern Cyprus on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases there to 494 (including ten in the British Bases).
The 29 cases were confirmed after 1353 tests carried out on Tuesday, said the Cyprus Health Ministry.
Of the 29 new confirmed cases, 22 were found through tracing of the contacts of people who were found positive to Coronavirus, 3 in Paphos and 4 whose history is being investigated.
So far, the 494 total cases in south Cyprus were detected after a total of 13,017 tests were carried out.
Of the 494 cases, 364 come from contacts, that is the contagion occurred in Cyprus.
A total of 47 people have been discharged from hospital.
