29 German tourists repatriated from TRNC
Twenty nine German tourists who were in quarantine in Northern Cyprus were flown home on Wednesday night aboard a charter flight.
Two German tourists who lost their lives to coronavirus in the country, a 73 year old man and a 83 year old woman, were flown back home in the plane.
The group had tested positive for Covid-19 and had been in quarantine for 14 days following their treatment.
A total of 32 German tourists had been placed in two week quarantine after one of them tested positive for coronavirus. Two others have left on other airplanes.
A total of 77 people have tested positive for coronavirus in northern Cyprus.
