Nine new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in south Cyprus
Another nine cases of coronavirus were confirmed in southern Cyprus on Saturday. bringing the total number of cases in the country to 84.
Three of the cases concerns individuals who came in contact with a confirmed case, a nurse from Paphos general, one person working for an airline and four people who had returned from the UK, Spain, and Poland.
According to a statement by Cyprus Health ministry, 13 people are being treated at Famagusta General hospital, three are in serious but stable condition at Limassol General, and another individual is at Nicosia General hospital.
This brings the total number of cases in south Cyprus to 84, 34 in north Cyprus and 118 islandwide.
Three cases on either side of the island have recovered from the virus.
