49 passengers were repatriated to the UK on Sunday from Paphos airport, in south Cyprus because of a near lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
According to a report by Cyprus News Agency, the charter flight to London’s Gatwick Airport departed at 15.40 on Sunday.
No flights will fly in or out of Paphos and Larnaca airports in south Cyprus on Monday as per the government’s two-week travel ban put in force on March 21 at 3 am.
