Odion Ighalo to wear No 25 for Manchester United as striker prepares to make debut against Chelsea

Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo will wear the No 25 shirt for Manchester United. 

The striker made the switch to Old Trafford in a £3million loan deal from Shanghai Shenhua last Friday.

 He has now been handed the No 25 jersey ahead of his possible debut against Chelsea following the Premier League winter break.

 The shirt has not been in use since full back Antonio Valencia departed the Red Devils last summer.

 Other previous owners of the No 25 include the likes of former goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington, Quinton Fortune and right back Danny Simpson.

 United released a video on Twitter to unveil Ighalo's shirt number with a link to purchase it
