Cyprus Weather Today: Temperatures to drop significantly today
A low pressure system centered on the Aegean is moving slowly east
bringing unsettled weather with showers and snow in the mountains while
temperatures from tomorrow will drop below the seasonal average.
Friday will remain partly cloudy with local rain and/or thunderstorms and the possibility of hail.
Temperatures will rise to 18 C inland and on the coast and around 7 C in the higher mountains.
At night, temperatures will fall to 10 C inland, 12 C on the coasts and 3 C in the mountains.
On Saturday, increased cloud will lead to isolated showers and locally snow in the mountains. On Saturday and Sunday night there will be frost in the mountains and semi mountainous areas and locally inland.
Temperatures over the three days will be considerably below the average for the time if year.
Sunday will be partly cloudy and cold and at night there will be frost in the mountains, the semi-mountainous areas and locally inland and there may even be frost on the coast.
