4.3 and 4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Turkey
An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.3 and 4.8 occurred about an hour apart in Akhisar, Turkey on Tuesday evening.
According to a statement by AFAD'dan Turkey, the first earthquake occurred at 7:47pm while the second earthquake occurred at 8:55pm in Turkish district of Akhisar, Manisa.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers and was felt throughout Manisa and in some districts of İzmir.
No loss of life, injury or damage was recorded in the earthquake according to initial information released.
