Cyprus Weather Update: More colder weather on Friday

Relatively low pressure is affecting the area as Friday will be mainly fine and cold, with very strong northerly winds in places which will gradually abate in the afternoon.  

There will be a marked drop in temperatures on Friday to below average for the time of year

Temperatures will rise to 17 C inland and on the coast and around 7 C in the mountains. 

At night, temperatures will fall to 5 C inland, around 7 C on the coasts and -4 in the mountains where there will be frost.

Saturday and Sunday will be mainly fine and on Sunday there will be increased cloud at intervals.

Temperatures will move up to the seasonal average on Saturday and edge up further on Sunday.
