Woman travels out of south Cyprus with her 3 children without husbands' knowledge, now they won't be returning

The Greek Cypriot police in Paphos are investigating a complaint made by a Palestinian man that his wife, also Palestinian, left Cyprus with their three children and told him that they will not be returning.

According to the report by the Cyprus News Agency reports, the man had told police that his 38 year old wife had left from Paphos Airport with their three under-age children to attend the funeral of a family member in Palestine.

The woman informed the man that they would not be returning to Cyprus and if he wanted to see their children he would have to travel to Palestine.

The man contacted police seeking help for his wife to return to Cyprus with their children.

The Paphos CID was investigating a complaint of child abduction from joint custody as an arrest warrant was expected to be issued for the woman.
