Two people arrested for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit
Two people were arrested over the weekend by Turkish Cypriot police for living in the country without a resident permit.
The arrest was made by the police in a raid carried out across the country between 8:00pm on Saturday to 2:00am on Sunday.
The raid to restore order and traffic control was carried out in Güzelyurt, Famagusta and Iskele.
Two people were found residing in the country without a resident permit.
A total of 10 people were prohibited from entering the casino in Famagusta and legal proceedings were initiated against them
163 drivers were found to have committed traffic crime and banned from the road.
