Two female students arrested for shoplifting at Erülkü Supermarket
Two female students were arrested on Monday for shoplifting at a super market Demirhan.
The girls only identified as İ.T and Ş.Ş were arrested on Monday for stealing goods worth TL 2057 at Erülkü Supermarket operating in Demirhan between 11 and 13 November 2019.
They were taken to a court in Lefkosa and released on bail.
Police prosecutor told the court that the girls reportedly stole food, cosmetic products, pots and pans of various brands with a total value of TL 2057 in Erülkü Supermarket.
Police said the suspects who are law students confessed to the crimes after the arrest.
The stolen items were recovered from a student dormitory and taken as evidence.
They were banned from traveling abroad and must report to the nearest police station once every week.
