Cyprus Weather Today: Rain and thunderstorms expected over weekend
Low pressure is beginning to affect the area with showers and isolated thunderstorms forecast today and over the weekend.
Saturday will be partly cloudy and local showers and thunderstorms are forecast, mainly from midday on.
Temperatures will rise to 26 C inland and on the northern and eastern coasts, around 25 C on the rest of the coast and around 16 C in the mountains.
At night, temperatures will fall to 14 C inland, around 15 C on the coasts and around 7 C in the mountains.
Sunday will be partly cloudy and local showers and thunderstorms are forecast, mainly from midday on.
On Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy.
Temperatures will remain at the same levels which are close to average for the time of year.
