Yellow Weather Alert for Monday: Thunderstorm and more rain with hail expected
The Cyprus Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert for Monday warning of
isolated heavy thunderstorms.
The Met office stated that the rate of precipitation will be between 35 and 55
millimetres per hour while hail is also likely.
The yellow alert is in force from 7 am to 5 pm on Monday.
The public should be aware that thunderstorms may occur.

Take extra care in exposed areas, like mountains, forest and open terrain. Disruption to outdoor activities is possible, it added.
