Turkey opens consulate general’s office in Famagusta
The Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa, North Cyprus has announced the opening of a Turkish Consulate General’s office in Famagusta.
According to information acquired by TRNC prime minister’s office, Tatar said that “the opening of a consulate general in the Famagusta region would provide services not only to the population in the region but also to the students coming from Turkey to study at DAU university”.
Turkish Ambassador to North Cyprus, Ali Murat Basceri stressed the importance of opening the consulate general in Famagusta and said that this would serve the people who live in Famagusta and Yeni Iskele area.
