Student detained for faking student transcript for university transfer

A student who allegedly falsified a student transcript in an  internet café in Lefkosa to help his friends transfer from GAU to NEU has been detained for three days by a court in Lefkosa.

The student only identified as N.A from Pakistan was brought to a court in Lefkosa on Saturday on charges of document falsification. 

Police prosecutor told the court that the accused in September this year tried to falsify a transcript that will allow his friend from Pakistan transfer from Near East University to Girne American University. 

The internet cafe alerted the police and the culprit was arrested. 

Police found fake edited students transcripts of the American University of Kyrenia with him. 

The suspect was detained for three days while police launch a search for the two other people involved.
