Google to provide digital education for 200,000 African students

Google will provide coding and computer training to 200,000 students from Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa as part of the "Digital Skills for Africa" ​​program. 

According to reports,  Google Sub-Saharan Africa President Mojolaoluwa Aderemi-Makinde, said "within the scope of the Google program, in the first stage, educators and computer scientists and digital education will be given to 200 thousand students in the 9-16 age group.

Aderemi-Makinde stated that the participants will be comprised of young people from Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. 

With these trainings, we aim to increase children's interaction with computers and increase their confidence in this field. he said.

In the context of the programs to be realized in three countries, young people are given training;

The training programs conducted by Google aim to train 10 million Africans by 2022.
