Cyprus Weather Today: Improved weather today as temperatures edges up

The low pressure affecting the area is receding. Saturday will see increased high cloud at intervals while in the afternoon clouds that develop may lead to isolated rain and possible thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains.

Temperatures will edge up on Saturday.

Temperatures  will rise to 28 degrees Celsius inland, 27 to 29 degrees Celsius in coastal areas and 16 in the mountains..

Temperatures will fall to 16 C inland and on the southwest and north coasts, around 18 C on the remaining coasts and around 10 C in the mountains.

Temperatures will remain at the same levels on Sunday, above average for the time of year while on Monday they will drop slightly to close to average for the time of year.

Sunday will be mainly fine to start but clouds that gather gradually are expected to lead to isolated rain or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and inland. At night there may be isolated rain, mainly near the coast.

Monday will be partly cloudy and at intervals mainly cloudy and scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast.
