British and Turkish couple hold Yoruba themed wedding in North Cyprus
Who said the Nigerian culture are only met for Nigerians? think again because even the British are adopting the Nigerian style of wedding and it's lovely.
A British and Turkish Cypriot couple got everyone talking when they decided to hold a Yoruba themed wedding in Cyprus.
The Bride is the daughter of the Lefkosa Protestant Church pastor. The wedding was held at the Church last week.

While I do support the fact that they appreciate the Yoruba Culture, I have to note that I somewhat find this offensive as a Nigerian. Yoruba is a culture, A way of life for some NIGERIANS, it comes with its highs and lows and devotion to heritage, it is not a costume or party idea that can be a theme. In order to show appreciation for the Yoruba's; having a Turkish-British wedding with little elements of the Yoruba culture would have been appropriate (In my opiniom). Imagine having a Muslim themed wedding or an Indian themed wedding.
