Windows 10 latest update is breaking a critical feature for users
Windows 10 was recently granted a new cumulative update from Microsoft, known as KB4515384.
This patch released on September 10 and was claimed by the American tech giant to fix several issues with the popular operating system – including a remedy for a recent high CPU problem related to Cortana.
When it initially debuted the patch, Microsoft said there were no known issues with KB4515384.
However, after downloading and installing it, some users took to the Redmond-based company’s community forum and Reddit to declare the firmware was causing Wi-Fi complications.
More specifically, fans running specific Wi-Fi adaptors on their machine insisted they were unable to connect to networks at all.
The American tech giant said: “Microsoft and NEC have found incompatibility issues with Intel Centrino 6205/6235 and Broadcom 802.11ac Wi-Fi cards when running Windows 10, version 1903 on specific models of NEC devices.
Microsoft has also provided a workaround for users experiencing Wi-Fi problems of this nature.

If these devices are updated to Windows 10, version 1903, they will no longer be able to use any Wi-Fi connections. The Wi-Fi driver may have a yellow exclamation point in device manager. The task tray icon for networking may show the icon for no internet and Network & Internet settings may not show any Wi-Fi networks.
Microsoft has also provided a workaround for users experiencing Wi-Fi problems of this nature.
