Two Iranian men arrested in south Cyprus airport for trying to travel with forged Czech passports
Greek Cypriot police on Saturday arrested two Iranian men who were trying to depart the country with forged Czech passports.
According to the news by Greek media, philenews, the two men were due to leave the country on Friday for Britain, however officers at passport control noticed that the documents they were trying to use were forged.
Police interviewed the two, who admitted that the passports were fake.
The two men is said to have entered south Cyprus through north Cyprus, from where they bought the passports, paying hundreds of euro.
The two men have been placed in police custody.
