Turkish Cypriot father threatened son with a knife for refusing to go home from a cafe
A man who threatened his son with a knife for refusing to go home from a cafe in Lefkosa, north Cyprus has been remanded in custody.
The man only identified with the initial, A.A committed the crime on Thursday evening at Pasccuci Café in Lefkosa.
He was taken to a court in Lefkosa on Friday on charges of carrying illegal weapon and threat to life.
According to police report, the accused threatened to stab his son with a 16cm long knife.
The suspect who is a citizen of TRNC and Turkey was released on bail.
