Muhaceret/Student Residency permit update for old and new students

Universities in North Cyprus are open again for academic business for the 2019/2020 semester and below are few information for new and old students on how to go about their resident permit.

New students must ensure to do their MUHACERET/STUDENT RESIDENCY ONLINE APPLICATION in order to avoid the risk of being DEPORTED. The renewal link is as follows: https://permissions.gov.ct.tr/login

Muhaceret Renewals will start from September, 30, 2019. All OLD STUDENTS MUST start their ONLINE APPLICATION before they arrive to the TRNC if they are ARRIVING AFTER the 30th September. 

Previously, the immigration system provided an option where students can indicate that they have paid their Health Insurance to their respective universities but in the upgraded system, students are now required to this Health Insurance online along with the health fees.

As such, the €50 Emergency Health Insurance is no longer an obligation to be paid to the University as this fee is currently being paid during the Muhaceret renewals/processing online, so no student is obliged to pay directly to the universities unless they would like to take out an Emergency Health Insurance with the universities.
