Illegal Pakistan national arrested by police in north Cyprus after he reported himself
A Pakistan national who reported himself to the police because he doesn't have a resident permit was detained by the police.
Mejanur Rahman from Pakistan and an illegal resident in North Cyprus, on Tuesday, September, 3 reported himself to the police in Lefkosa. He was then arrested and detained by the police.
He was taken to a court in Lefkosa on Wednesday where he was charged for living in the country illegally.
The accused entered the country on February, 2, 2019 and became illegal on April, 12.
He was ordered to remain in detention for 3 days.
