Cyprus Weather Today: Local rain and isolated thunderstorms expected
Weak low pressure is affecting the region as isolated showers, storms, and even hail are expected over the weekend and the beginning of next week.
Saturday weather will be partly cloudy with local rain and isolated thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail.
Temperatures should be around 33 degrees Celsius inland, around 30C in the south and east, about 28C west and north and 23C in the higher mountainous areas.
At night, temperatures will fall to 21 C inland and on the east and south coasts, around 20 C on the remaining coasts and around 15 C in the mountains.
Temperatures will edge up as from Sunday to a little above average.
On Sunday and Monday, increased cloud at intervals may lead to isolated showers, mainly in the mountains and inland after midday.
