10 people who entered the TRNC by hiding in a truck arrested

A total of 10 people including a ship operator were arrested by the TRNC Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention team for entering the country illegally through the Famagusta port.

The illegal migrants, all male were found hidden in a truck at about 5:00pm on Friday during an operation by the team at the Famagusta port.

Investigation by the team revealed that the one of those arrested assisted the others in entering the country illegally.
