Prisoners and detainees spends time with families during Eid al-Adha celebration in north Cyprus

Prisoners and detainees had the opportunity to spend some quality time with their loved ones and family members in the first and second day of the Eid al-Adha celebration in north Cyprus.

The Muslim holiday started on Sunday in North Cyprus and will end on Wednesday, August, 14.

During the visit, emotional moments were shared between the prisoners and their visitors.

Prisoners and detainees at the Central Prison in Lefkosa are given the opportunity to receive families and friends during the Eid al-Adha celebration.

The visit will be between 09.00am to 4.30pm on each day.

Visitors must come with identifying document, and the food brought by visitors should be limited and consumed during the visit.
