Instead of clothes, they sent trash to Instagram customers

They opened an online shop only to swindle unsuspecting buyers.

Two people, a male and a female has been arrested in Kyrenia, north Cyprus for allegedly sending a bag full of nylon and cardboard to five people who ordered clothes through an online site.

The accused only identified as B.Y.Y. 22 and B.S, 19 were arrested on Saturday in Girne for fraudulently obtaining the sum of 680 TL.

The two accused operates an Instagram where they sell clothes. Five individual reportedly ordered for various apparels on the site and instead of getting what they ordered for, they got a bag full of nylon and cardboard paper, 

They were brought before a judge at a Girne court on Saturday. 

Police revealed in court that 19 people also made orders on phone.

They were ordered to remain in detention for three days while police carry out more investigation on the matter.
