Eight detained for illegal residency in North Cyprus, two arrested for begging
Eight people were identified and detained for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit.
The illegal residents were arrested between Friday and Saturday in an operation carried out by Turkish Cypriot police in several parts of the country to reduce crime.
Three of those arrested were identified in Kyrenia, one in Lefkosa and two in Famagusta.
In a different incident, two people were arrested for begging in Famagusta.
