Yellow weather alert! Heatwave reaches boiling point in Cyprus as temperatures reaches 41 degrees
Time to roast in the heat waves as Cyprus gets hot!
A yellow weather warning has been by the Cyprus Metro Office for Tuesday as temperatures a re expected to rise to a scorching 41 degrees
celcius.
The yellow alert is in full effect from 11 am to 5 pm on Tuesday.
The risk of a fire is also extremely, the forestry department have issued a “red alert” and this means fires in the forest areas are at critical point.
The weather will be bright with alot of sunny spells and temperatures will exceed the 40 degree mark.
Temperatures are expected to remain at the same levels on Wednesday, edging down on Thursday and Friday to a little above average for the time of year.
