TRNC authorities to introduce amnesty for illegal workers and residents later in the year
The TRNC Labour and Social Security ministry has said it will introduce amnesty for illegal workers in the country later in the year.
In a statement this week by the Labor and Social Security Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu, he said the plan is to eliminate irregularity with the amnesty program for proper documentation of workers in the country.
The minister also noted that the aim was not to make money throught the process but to pardon illegal workers.
He said that the transaction will be made based on minimum wage.
