Five people almost drowned in a Famagusta Beach on Sunday
Five people were in danger of drowning in the sea of Famagusta on Sunday.
The incident happened at about 11:00am at the Spa public Beach in Famagusta on Sunday, June, 30.
Three of the victims were in the sea swimming when they were almost washed away by the excessive sea wave.
Two other people who were swimming at the time and had tried to rescue them were also in danger of drowning.
One of them was taken to a hospital in Famagusta with a special vehicle whilst the others were taken in an ambulance that arrived moments later.
