Five detained for illegal residency, 35 arrested in casino

Five unauthorized residents were arrested by the police and legal proceedings opened against 35 people who found in a casino. 

The illegal residents were identified and arrested in an operation to combat in several parts of the country between Friday and Saturday.

Three of those arrested were identified in Lefkosa, one in Kyrenia and one in Güzelyurt.

Also, legal proceedings was opened against 35 people who are forbidden to enter and stay in the casino.

18 of them were identified in Lefkosa and 17 in Famagusta.
