Woman spent £26k on 6 boob jobs after husband 'said she looked like a man'

A 50-year-old woman has spent £26,000 on boob jobs and claims she has risked her life six times in a bid to get 'perfect boobs' after her confidence hit rock bottom.

Janey Byrne, 50, from Lincoln, East Mids, had her breast implants removed five times after she claims they became toxic and ruptured.

But with her most recent implant removal being last year, Janey lasted just six months before she decided to go under the knife for a sixth time.

She claims her natural boobs were saggy after all the surgery and was left a breast size AA - Janey said her confidence hit rock bottom and that she needed surgery to help rebuild her self-esteem.

In 2017 she said that her husband Dave had joked that her 36AA boobs made her look like a man.

After increasing her breast size to a G cup, Janey is now finally happy and is hoping that her most recent breast surgery will be her last after spending £26k in total.

Janey, a receptionist, said: 

I had always disliked my boobs so finally plucked up the courage in 2005 to get them done.

I'm very tall and of an athletic build, so I wanted to get a boob job to make me look and feel more feminine.

But just over a year later, my friend was found to have toxic implants so on a whim thought to get mine checked too.

I got the shocking news that mine were in fact toxic too and there was the chance of me being poisoned.

My bad luck continued, when my next set of implants they were put in badly making the skin on my chest really, really tight, I then had to pay extra money to get them corrected.

Janey has undergone six breast surgeries in total due to a range of different complications.
