Student who fell from apartment balcony in Girne transfered to Turkey in an ambulance for treatment

A university student who fell from the balcony of an apartment and broke a hip bone as a result has been flown to Turkey for treatment.

The 22-year-old female victim, a Public Relations Department student at the Girne American University, Girne fell from the balcony of her apartment on December, 25, 2018 and broke her hip bone.

Report say she fell from the third floor apartment after losing her balance.

Nisa Karaçoroğlu has been receiving treatment in the northern part of Cyprus and had difficulty in getting proper treatment due to insufficient facilities.

She was taken back to her home town in Gaziantep, Turkey by ambulance plane for further treatment.

With the support of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin an ambulance aircraft was allocated for her transfer to Gaziantep.
