Pakistani student throws drugs out of car window following police chase in Lefkosa
A 23-year-old Pakistani student who threw a banned substance out of his car after he noticed police were following him has been arrested.
The accused was driving carelessly Ali Riza Efendi Street in Ortakoy, Lefkosa on Monday evening when the police followed him but only to throw a banned substance out of the car window and drove away.
Police found the substance believed to be a Synthetic Cannabinoid type drug weighing about 200 milligrams and took it as an exhibit.
He was arrested and taken to a court in Lefkosa. He was given a three day detention order by the court.
