Cyprus Weather Today: Temperatures to edge down a little

A hot air mass is affecting the area but Thursday will be mainly fine with temperatures edging down a little to about 39 degrees inland, around 33 C on the south and east coasts, around 30 C on the remaining coasts and around 31 C in the higher mountains.

On Friday there will be increased cloud at intervals while on Saturday, clouds that develop from midday on may lead to scattered showers and/or isolated thunderstorms in the mountains and possibly inland.

No noticeable change is expected in temperatures inland and in the mountains, but they will gradually edge down on the coasts, it added but noted that temperatures will remain above average for the time of year.
