Woman in trouble for demanding that a student withdraws sexual assault claim against her husband

A woman who demanded that a young student withdraw her complaint of sexual assault against her husband has gotten herself into trouble.

The woman, Sarah Kuassem Ahmad was arrested on Monday in Girne, North Cyprus and taken to court for trying to save her husband by demanding that a student from Jordan withdraw her complaint of sexual assault against him. 

She reportedly called and harassed the girl on phone several times.

This got her into trouble for interfering with justice.

The woman's husband was arrested on Tuesday, April, 30 on charges of sexual assault.

She was charged for 'trying to interfere with witnesses' by calling the female victim and requesting that she withdraw her complaint.

She was released on bail and will be tried in the future.
