Video of EMU rector having a confrontation with students protesting school fees hike surfaces
Students of the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, were protesting hikes in school fees when they were confronted with the rector.
According to a report by Gazeddakibris, the Rector pushed a student and said, You are provoking.
The video of the incident that happened Thursday, May, 9 at the university was posted online and has since generated criticism.
The rector came out on Saturday to issue a statement denying claim of assault.
