Two teenage girls caught in Lefkosa border gate for hiding drug in Mc Donald's coke box
Two teenage girls aged 14 and 17 were arrested in Lefkosa for trying to enter the country with drugs through the border gate with south Cyprus.
The two girls were caught with two gram of a junk-type drug, police report say.
They reportedly hid the drugs in a box of Mc Donald's brand coke.
They were taken to the headquarters of the Narcotic and Smuggling Prevention Department for questioning.
They were taken to a court in Lefkosa on Friday last week.
They were released on bail and to be tried in the future.
