Two arrested on charges of sexual assault in Girne
Two people between the age of 23 and 24 were arrested in Girne on Wednesday in connection with allege sexual assault.
The two accused, A.M.A.H, 23 and M.U.A.T, 24 who are wanted in connection with the alleged sexual assault allegations were arrested and detained in Karaoğlanoğlu on Wednesday.
One of the accused, M.U.A.T who noticed that the police had come to his residence for the arrest tried to escape by jumping the balcony of the second floor of the house.
Police investigation into the incident continues.
