Turkish Cypriots reacts to video of some African students praying in foreign language in a Girne apartment

A video shared online appears to show some African students praying out loud in their apartment in Girne.

The prayers which got the attention of neighbours was recorded and shared on Facebook on Thursday evening. 

According to the post on Facebook, the social media user said, it happened in an apartment near the Nusmar market in Girne. He noted that the people do this everynight disturbing residents of the area and doesn't know that is it about.

Reacting to the video, some Turkish Cypriot called on authorities to do something about it while others felt they are drunk.

One even suggested that a stone be thrown at the window and the door to the apartment broken to stop them from doing what they are doing. 

Another called it ritual while another said it's like a horror movie.

Someone who happened to understand the situation, said thay were praying in holy spirit language noting that they were not Nigerians as what they were saying was in French.
