One released, Ezeh and two others to remain in prison for 3 months until trial for murder, may face life imprisonment

Another suspect detained in connection with the murder of Nigeria students, Walshak Augustine Ngok have been released from prison while three others, including the prime suspect were sent back to prison awaiting trial for murder. 

The prime suspect, Ezeh Christopher, accused of killing a fellow Nigerian and three others arrested in connection with the murder were brought to court on Friday along with evidence relating with the murder.

Police witness, told the court that Ezeh Christopher, committed the crime at about 7:00pm on Thursday, April, 18 and then dropped the body on a forest area along the Haspolat-Tashkent highway.

He said the accused gave voluntarily confession.

It was revealed that Ezeh Christopher has no legal status in the country and should be tried for a very serious crime.

Two other accused, Nana Fosu Awoture Nkansah, (Ghanaian) and Wayne Ayanda Moyo, (Zimbabwen) will also stand trial due to their carelessness for trying to eliminate evidence of the crime, report said. 

They will likely be sentenced to seven years in prison if found guilty.

All three accused, were sent to prison for a period of three months until trial which their lawyer did not object to.

Ezeh Christopher is likely to be sentenced to life imprisonment if found guilty of murder.

One of the suspect, Amanda Nyambawe (Zimbabwean) was released after she was found not guilty of the crime, bringing the number of people released from detention to 9.
