Heartbroken dog waits outside classroom every day for teacher who died
A dog has been filmed desperately scratching at the door of a classroom where a teacher who used to care for him once taught.
The teacher, professor Carmelito Marcelo, 58, suffered a stroke earlier this month and sadly died on May 18. But Buboy, who had been greeted by the university lecturer twice a day for two years at Mabalacat City College in Pampanga, Philippines, still came hoping to find his old friend. Students filmed as the stray dog scratched at the proffessor’s door.
Eventually they felt so sorry for the dog that they decided to take him to the local church where Carmelito’s open coffin was being kept. The dog whimpered as he was shown his old friend’s body.
Buboy then got to the ground and laid in front of the casket. Student

It’s hard to watch the dog waiting for his friend. He doesn’t know that his special companion has gone.
Everybody has taken to help with the feeding of Buboy. The staff, students and teachers are all providing food for him. Staff at the Mabalacat City College said they have now planned to help arrange Buboy a new home.
